How to Add New Service in Master Data

To make understand easily, Service section is been divided into three sections.

1. Service Section

2. Price Section

3. Instruction Section

Service Info:

1. Sort Order:

Based on the service priority, ordering the service in a suitable list.

2. Name:

Name of the service, Provided by the company.

3. SKU: 

SKU helps in tracking the service with unique identification code provided by the service agents.

4. Basic UOM:

In which measurement readings, This service will be provided to the customers.

5. Service Category:

In which category, This service will be provided. Such as delivery, removal, cutting, repairing, etc.

6. Service Type:

What are the different services provided by this company. Such as installation, fabrication, Add ons, Etc.

  

7. Sales / Income Account:

Income which is generated by doing different services will be added into this income account.

8. Preferred Vendor:

A vendor is a person who sells or deals in particular goods or services in less time with efficient work process. All those vendors will be added into this field.

9. Avg. Estimation Unit Cost:

Average estimation cost per unit size or certain measurement will be provided by the service providers.

10. Purchasing / Expenses Account:

The expenses carried out or any purchases made while doing a services to the customer, Will be added into this account.

11. Service is Taxable:

Based on the services, Few service may have taxable payments. For that we are using this field.

Price Section:

Service providers will provide different cost for different customers, Based on few conditions, Such as whether the customer is a old or new customer, whether the customer is buying the orders in bulk or not, etc.

Instruction Section:

• In instruction section we will provide specific key notes for the shipment or any other things which don't exist in the fields to notify the company.
• Internal notes will provide for the customer,  any changes that they need can enter those details in internal notes section.
• In disclaimer field,We will be highlighting the instructions to the customer.

Usage:

What are the different service charges will be applicable on different service type will be listed in this field. Service charge may varies from one service provider to another one.
